Spahn does not want to increase state benefits for the time being
Union parliamentary group leader Spahn does not want to increase state benefits for the foreseeable future. Without growth there would be no money for it. This could cause problems for BAföG recipients. The Union and the SPD had only recently agreed on an increase.
Unionsfraktionschef Spahn will staatliche Leistungen absehbar nicht erhöhen. Ohne Wachstum fehle das Geld dafür. Für BAföG-Empfänger könnte das Probleme bringen. Denn Union und SPD hatten sich erst kürzlich auf eine Erhöhung geeinigt.
