EU does not see children sufficiently protected on Instagram and the like
According to preliminary investigations by the EU Commission, Facebook and Instagram do not protect children sufficiently from the dangers of their offerings. The parent company Meta has to make improvements to age controls, otherwise there is a risk of a fine.
